Ugandan American Diaspora Community Gears Up for the Grand Launch on July 6th and 7th
Kampala, Uganda (June 18, 2024): The Ugandan American Diaspora Community (UADC), a newly formed organization dedicated to connecting and empowering Ugandans living in the United States, is thrilled to announce its UADC Grand Launch event on Saturday, July 6th and Prayer Breakfast on Sunday, July 7th 2024.
Building Bridges, Enhancing Progress
The UADC aims to bridge the gap between Ugandans residing in the U.S. and their homeland. Through a variety of initiatives, the organization will:
• Build a strong network for Ugandans and Americans to connect, share experiences, and collaborate.
• Promote cultural and social exchange by way of celebrating traditions and social exchange by that showcases the beauty and richness of Ugandan heritage.
• Support Ugandan development by connecting Ugandan Americans with opportunities to give back to their communities of origin.
• Advocate for Ugandan interests in the U.S. and create positive bilateral relations.
• Build a strong network for Ugandans and Americans to connect, share experiences, and collaborate.
• Promote cultural and social exchange by way of celebrating traditions and social exchange by that showcases the beauty and richness of Ugandan heritage.
• Support Ugandan development by connecting Ugandan Americans with opportunities to give back to their communities of origin.
• Advocate for Ugandan interests in the U.S. and create positive bilateral relations.

The UADC believes that Uganda-Americans have a vital role to play in strengthening Uganda’s future. By adopting unity and collaboration, the organization aims to empower Ugandan Americans to significantly impact both their adopted home and their country of origin.
